One of my passion projects is running The Library Collective, a small non-profit dedicated to innovative librarianship. At the heart of our efforts is a unique style of collaboration. So, my co-founder, Corey Halaychik, and I penned a column for the journal of Collaborative Librarianship that outlines how we use (and don’t use) collaboration to create a professional development environment that embraces creativity, celebrates failure, and doesn’t cost a fortune. ACRLog Raves About The Collective
I realize it’s actually a challenge to fully describe the Collective experience. I suppose all I can say is, if you’re interested in a conference that is a coming together of the coolest and most cutting edge librarians planned by a team of librarians who thought through every detail from start to finish, I highly recommend the Collective.
We were excited to read this lovely praise for The Collective in ACRLog, a blog by and for academic and research librarians. Thanks for the rave review, Mollie Peuler, eLearning Librarian at Central Piedmont Community College!
